Biography

Steven Baum has over 25 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry. Since joining PNNL in 1994 his work has focused primarily on supporting projects with reliable high quality analytical data and lab support services. Steven is currently working as an ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, and Total Carbon Analyzer technician, providing analysis in support of numerous projects both within and outside the SS&T group. He is also a secondary operator on other instrumentation such as ICP-OES and IC-ICP-MS. Steven is also involved with sample preparation/digestion, lab and instrument maintenance and data processing/analysis. He also trains and mentors junior staff members at the Laboratory.
